Nocturnal Panic Attack

Most people who suffer from it feel that they are having a cardiac rest during their sleep.


Another reason that is connected with such panic attack is the nightmares. It has been studied that nightmares that are seen during the phase four of the sleep are mostly the reason behind nocturnal panic attacks. Sleep apnea is yet another reason for such attacks. Sleep apnea is the sleeping disorder in which the individual feel difficulty is breathing. This interruption in breathing causes the heart beat to alleviate and decrease the blood oxygen level, which in-turn results in a panic attack.

In this disease, the juices of the digestive system are back flowed to the esophagus causing a sensation of heart burn. This disease is also related to the cause of nocturnal panic attack. This state is also related to the cause of nocturnal panic attack.


After understanding the various possible reason of the nocturnal panic attack, now it is important to consider the way these attacks can be managed. When an individual suffers from nocturnal panic attack, he or she should wake up completely and then try to divert his or her focus. Controlling the breathing is the first and most important step in handling such attacks.
